We’re thrilled to announce our exclusive Members-Only Event on beautiful Catalina Island. This is your chance to connect, recharge, and enjoy a special day curated just for our SITE SoCal Member Community.
Join SITE SoCal for a memorable day of connection, exploration, and celebration on Catalina Island. This exclusive Members Only event begins with a ferry ride to Avalon aboard Catalina Express, followed by lunch & a welcome reception at Catherine’s Terrace, leisure time to relax or explore Descanso Beach Club and the island, and a group tasting at Flx Biergarten.
As the day winds down, the networking continues back on the mainland with a post-reception at Hyatt Centric Long Beach, with discounted accommodations available for members both onsite and at nearby partner hotels.
This thoughtfully curated itinerary offers a mix of hosted experiences and meaningful time to engage with fellow SITE SoCal members in memorable settings.

This event is exclusive to current SITE SoCal members. All registrations will be cross-checked against the SITE Global membership list for the Southern California Chapter. If you are not listed as an active SITE SoCal member, you will be contacted and your registration will be canceled unless your membership is activated by Friday, July 18, 2025. During the afternoon portion of our SITE SoCal Members Only Event, you’ll have the opportunity to personalize your time on Catalina Island. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, we have options for everyone.
(Please note capacities for each activity are limited).
Please register for your preferred activity or simply let us know you’ll be opting for the leisure route. We love all options - this day is yours to enjoy!
Ocean Activities
- Stand-Up Paddleboard – Glide across crystal-clear waters with a chance to spot local marine life.
- Single or Double Kayaks – Explore Avalon Bay at your own pace, solo or paired up.

- Casino VIP Tour – Go behind the scenes of Catalina’s historic Art Deco casino and its famous ballroom.
- Zipline Eco Tour – Soar across Descanso Canyon on five scenic lines and learn about Catalina’s natural landscape.
- Aerial Adventure – Navigate high ropes courses and zip elements in a forested setting.
Leisure Time
Prefer to take it easy? Enjoy a relaxed afternoon at Catherine’s Terrace, lounge at Descanso Beach Club, or explore the town of Avalon at your own pace.
Post-Reception At Topsail Rooftop
Join us after the Catalina Island experience for a hosted afterparty at Topsail, the rooftop venue at Hyatt Centric The Pike Long Beach. Enjoy drinks and appetizers courtesy of Meet Long Beach as we wrap up the day with elevated views and casual connection. RSVP Required. Transportation to Hotel on own.

SITE SoCal attendees are invited to take advantage of exclusive discounted rates at two conveniently located Long Beach hotels. A limited number of rooms are available at a special group rate, so we encourage early reservations. Booking links will be provided upon registration.
