Pendry San DiegoThis program will be a creative take on professional development as guests will experience how the martial art Aikido uses the energy of conflict to connect in more compassionate ways.

Most of us see conflict as a negative, a perception that has a profound impact on how we manage it. In addition, although we may be skilled at managing other resources, sometimes we do not manage ourselves very well. We get hooked by the stress of working in a busy industry and at times may find ourselves becoming driven by emotion. We become defensive and lose power. We act out feelings instead of directing their vital energy toward purpose.

This experiential, interactive program uses principles from Aikido, the Japanese art of reconciliation. You’ll learn to utilize and re-direct the energy of conflict, reduce stress, and acknowledge and reinforce connection.

Don’t worry, this will all be done in business casual attire!
