March 3, 2020 – Keep on Pushing: Hot Lessons from Cool Runnings
Devon’s presentation blends the need for every part of an organization to have the ability, through personal effort, teamwork, passion, a sense of purpose and persistence to “keep on pushing” to achieve success.
Devon illustrates his presentation with his improbable story of a road that took him from the violent ghettos of Kingston, Jamaica; to Sandhurst; to the Olympics; to the hit Disney film Cool Runnings.
Entertaining, motivational, with humor, compassion and real-life how-to guidance, Devon Harris inspires the audience to ‘keep on pushing’ – his distinctive phrase when asked how he gets that bobsled down that run.

The LOVE HARD mission is to remind everyone that each day is a gift and not promised. That the moments you have with your children and your family and friends should be cherished as you never know if it is the last chance you will get to tell them you love them. LOVE HARD means just that. Love as hard as you possibly can! Love Hard is dedicated to providing grass-roots funding to local charities, groups and individuals in the San Diego area with the goal of fostering love and community through music education and avenues for the emotional support of families grieving the loss of a child or parent too early in life.
Get em while they’re hot! We will be selling Love Hard hats and merchandise with all proceeds going back to the Love Hard mission.
