July 17, 2018: Educational Luncheon featuring an exploration of trust
Tuesday, July 17, 2018
11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows
Santa Monica, CA
TRUST is a multi-faceted topic that affects us on many levels. In order to tackle this very important virtue, we will approach it with a deeper conversation structured on three levels with three leaders in our industry. Our three speakers will lead us each for 20 minutes and at the end of the talks there will be a Q&A session for 20 minutes.
Join SITE SoCal for an exploration of TRUST with multiple presenters.
TRUST as it relates to us on three levels:
- GLOBALLY: by Peter Tarlow, Ph.D, Owner Tourism & More
- OUR INDUSTRY: by Gary Schirmacher, CMP, Experient, A Maritz Global Events Company
- PERSONALLY: by Deb Gee, Experience Designer for lululemon
The SITE Foundation President, John Iannini, will be our esteemed master of ceremonies for the program; bridging the gap between speakers and sharing with us about trust within SITE.

Mission: To create compelling content to inform business professionals of the bold results incentive travel produces, and to provide industry insights to further careers of current incentive professionals.
Vision: To ignite passion for incentive travel through knowledge sharing.
The SITE Foundation has invested over $250,000 to support research, education and advocacy projects on behalf of the incentive travel industry. Monies raised by the SITE Foundation help us make the business case for incentive travel and highlight the transformational potential of travel experiences on individuals, enterprises and communities.
As with all industries in this day and age, time is of the essence. The incentive travel marketplace is no different, and SITE Foundation has altered its approach slightly to meet the demands of its members and the industry with this in mind. While research continues to be an important component for building understanding of the business case for incentive travel, research is now just one of many types of content the SITE Foundation produces and shares out regularly in-line with its updated mission and vision.
SITE Foundation amped up investment since July of 2016 to provide a regular cadence of valued industry content. Additionally, access to and organization of this content for continued learning has been enhanced. We are excited to unveil the Motivate online content hub. Motivate is where professionals can easily navigate through resources across areas of Innovation, Inspiration, Impact and Intelligence.
